It is my privilege to be a Tampa FL native, growing up in one of the fishing capitols of the world. I live just minutes from the beautiful flats of Tampa Bay, on which I have spent countless hours searching, studying and educating myself on the patterns and habits of Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon and many other game fish. When I started Steady Action Fishing Charters I had one thing in mind, to be the Tampa fishing guide on the water.

Born in Tampa in 1954, I have lived and fished the Tampa area my entire life. In the mid 1990's I decided to make Tampa fishing my career. To that end I opened Shell Point Bait and Tackle, located at the mouth of the Little manatee River and Tampa Bay, where I operated both a Bait and Tackle business and a fishing charter business. In June of 2006 the marina that Shell Point Bait and Tackle was located in was sold and the lease for the bait shop was lost.

Captain Mike and Captain Billy Nobles for several years were found Sunday mornings on 620 AM, Tampa, FL sharing fishing stories and providing tips on The "Reel Animal's Fishing Show." Recently the captains moved their radio talents to ESPNFlorida radio and can be heard on stations in Tampa, Orlando, and Melbourne.
